The gentleman in the corner of the top photo is actually this man, whose photo was on The Sartorialist last month. I was so happy that the South was recognized!
Annnnyyyways….This specific area was so neat, and I have a feeling it will be booming in no time. Star Provisions was the coolest market store I have ever been to!! There were so many sections of different types of foods, and somehow, although they were all in the same market, they each felt like their own little store. Oh and mixed in were dishes, decor, goodies from France, fine chocolate, a coffee bar, and long tables for sitting. I could have stayed in there for so long! Soon an Anthro is coming to the area, moving in to an old silk factory. We only spent a short time in the area, but I would love to return with more time to explore!
